Komisja ADR ICC Polska

Komisja ADR ICC Polska zajmuje się dziedziną alternatywnych metod rozwiązywania sporów (Alternative Dispute Resolution - ADR).

Podstawową misją Komisji jest upowszechnienie stosowania oraz rozwój metod należących do ADR, a także promowanie ich jako efektywnych technik rozwiązywania sporów w różnych branżach i sektorach gospodarki. Dotyczy to w szczególności mediacji oraz innych procedur administrowanych przez Centrum ADR ICC, tj.: komisji rozjemczych (dispute boards), usług eksperckich (expertise) oraz DOCDEX (Documentary Instruments Dispute Resolution Expertise).

Swoją misję Komisja realizuje poprzez podejmowanie:

działań informacyjnych i szkoleniowych służących pogłębianiu wiedzy i umiejętności w zakresie ADR wśród przedsiębiorców oraz prawników; a także
inicjatyw badawczych mających na celu identyfikację wyzwań na drodze rozpowszechnienia i rozwoju ADR w Polsce oraz rozpoznanie potrzeb i oczekiwań środowisk biznesowych i prawniczych względem poszczególnych form ADR.

Aktywność Komisji obejmuje również inicjowanie debat na rzecz kreowania standardów postępowania oraz dobrych praktyk w obrębie ADR oraz kształtowanie kierunków rozwoju ADR - tak w Polsce, m.in. poprzez inspirowanie działań ustawodawczych w obszarze ADR, jak i na świecie, m.in. poprzez udział w pracach innych Komisji ICC, w tym w Komisji Arbitrażu i ADR ICC.

Conference, 23-24 May, Warsaw

This is the fifth time we can gather in Warsaw to discuss M&A arbitration issues. This is the last chance to register at Early Bird rate, which expires on April 15.

The 5th edition of the international conference "Dispute Resolution in M&A Transactions", which will be held on 23-24 May 2019 at the POLIN Conference Centre.

If you would like to address a specific issue within one of the panels, or share your comment with the audience, please contact with the Conference Chair – dr Beata Gessel-Kalinowska vel Kalisz (b.gessel@gessel.pl) and the floor will be given to you during the Q&A session at the end of the panel. The conference will feature the most distinguished practitioners: arbitrators, in-house counsel, dispute resolution and transactional lawyers and consultants of various specialisations who advise on M&A transactions from i.a. France, New Zealand, Russia, Israel, Latvia, Portugal, Egypt, Czech or China, among speakers. The audience is also truly international.

International Chamber of Commerce will support business engagement at the forthcoming COP24 in Katowice

We are delighted to inform that International Chamber of Commerce will be present to support business engagement at the forthcoming 24th Conference of the Parties (COP24) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change from 3-14 December 2018, in Katowice, Poland. ICC has a long history of promoting climate action at the international level and is the UNFCCC Focal Point for Business and Industry. We would like to invite all attendees of COP24 to the meeting organized by the ICC.
